Aecon-Golden Mile (A-GM) is a Joint Venture between Aecon and the Centre for Inclusive Economic Opportunity, Golden Mile (CIEO). As a community-owned construction company, A-GM ensures local residents, especially those who would likely not get a chance to work in the trades otherwise, have a direct entry-point to participate in and benefit from the development and investment that is coming to the Greater Golden Mile.
A-GM is majority-owned by CIEO (51%), and CIEO's share of the profits will be reinvested back into the Greater Golden Mile community. A-GM strives to be a first-choice employer and contractor for the redevelopment of the Golden Mile area, but also operates throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
Service Offerings
A-GM provides utility infrastructure construction services across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Services include hydrovac excavation, hard surface restoration, traffic control, & fibre optic installation. Drawing on A-GM's partnership with Aecon Utilities, additional service offerings are possible based on customer needs.
