Participating in Community Consultations

The Golden Mile Impact Network (GMIN), supported by United Way Great Toronto, is a group of community-based organizations and resident leaders that brings community voice and active participation in the process and work related to the Greater Golden Mile redevelopment.

GMIN has developed the Golden Mile Benefits Framework as a community-informed response to the anticipated large-scale, transit-oriented development precipitated by the construction of the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit (LRT). The Golden Mile Benefits Framework is foundational for the Inclusive Local Economic Opportunity (ILEO) initiative and informs all the ILEO pilots and projects, including the Aecon-Golden Mile (A-GM) Joint Venture.

Learn more about GMIN here: https://www.goldenmileimpact.com/

The Greater Golden Mile includes the Flemingdon Park, Victoria Village, Ionview, Eglinton East, Kennedy Park, and Golden Mile neighbourhoods. Residents of the Greater Golden Mile have postal codes beginning with M1J, M1K, M1L, M3C, or M4A.
