As a requirement of working in this industry, employers require you to have the Traffic Control - Book 7 training courses for safety regulation.
The Infrastructure Health & Safety Association will deliver this training for FREE this summer and you can be eligible if you:
Are a resident of the Greater Golden Mile (M1J, M1K, M1L, M3C, M4C postal codes)
Have a G drivers license
Have a minimum Grade 10 education level
Individuals who successfully complete these courses will be added to the candidate pool to work for Aecon-Golden Mile joint venture.

Storefront Starter is a FREE two-part program that includes free business training with Business in the Streets, funding opportunities of $10,000+ and access to exclusive alumni perks like market opportunities through the United Way’s Inclusive Local Economic Opportunity (ILEO) initiative for up to two years post-program.
You are eligible for this program if you:
Operate or live in Greater Weston–Mount Dennis (M6M, M9N, M6N, M6L), or the Greater Golden Mile area (M1J, M1K, M1L, M3C, M4A)
Have a registered business with a track record of sales
Have been operating for 6 months to 5 years
Are interested and available for in-person markets
Are a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
